I just wanted to put out there for the group a quick apology that I haven't been posting the stuff I've been writing in class. I know that a major part of this class is sharing what we have written with others, and I do want to share my thoughts and writings with all of you- I simply haven't had the time to retype everything and post online. I'm hoping by the end of this week to be all caught up.
I did have a pretty cool idea for a play- A guy arrives in a town and is seated on a bench. It's a pretty small town, so people begin to notice him and talk to him. As they talk to him, he reveals that this is the day that he is going to die. All his life, he has known the exact moment, so now he is here to watch one last sunset. He's accepted it, the people in town have various reactions and try to get him to change his mind, to try to live, but he is sure of himself.
It would be really cool to have the lighting on stage go from daylight to sunset to dusk as the play progresses.
